Getting there
Haut-Couserans is located at the west of the department of the Ariège-Pyrenees and 130 km south of Toulouse. It is possible to go in our valleys with a car and public transport.
The road access is done by A64 left n°20 direction Saint-Girons for the drivers which pass by Toulouse (ex: Agen, Bordeaux, Nantes, Brittany, Limoges.), for the people coming from Carcassonne (Marseilles, Montpellier, Lyon.).
The access drank some with correspondences with Saint-Girons (private transport or the SNCF) via Toulouse, then the Antras company which connects Soueix, Oust, Seix, Ercé and Aulus. In winter a shuttle (the SNCF) connects Toulouse to Guzet.
In only 2h of road of Haut-Couserans, the airports of Toulouse and Carcassonne offer a fast access from Paris or London
SNCF railway station of Saint-Girons, via Boussens and Toulouse, is closest. The station of Boussens is a passage obliged to join Haut-Couserans. From Paris the voyage can be carried out in the sleeper and thus bénaficier of the correspondences to join our valleys. It should be noted that it is necessary to divide your request with the services of the SNCF: e.g. Paris-Toulouse then Toulouse-Saint-Girons.
